Advocacy 101: A Night of Community & Action

We had an amazing crowd at our Advocacy 101 event! It was incredible to see so many community members come together to learn, connect, and take action. From discussions on housing and healthcare to the inspiring work of the Tenants Union of Washington, the energy in the room was empowering.

Some of our community advocates gathering together!

A huge thank you to our very own Paris Nelson, our Strategic Development & Policy Manager, for leading the way and sharing valuable insights at the event. Her guidance and leadership helped make this event a success!

We enjoyed meeting the fellow advocates and learning from each other’s experiences. Having a mixer to talk to others and learn about who is in the room was enlightening. Seeing so many passionate voices in one space reminded us why community-driven change is so important.💡💬

And if you missed this one—don’t worry! It’s never too late to become an advocate. Whether you’re just getting started or have been in the fight for years, Fourth Plain Forward is here to support, connect, and uplift our community.

Shoutout to everyone who joined us—your voices matter, and together, we’re building a stronger, more empowered community. 💪✨

Stay tuned for more events, and let’s keep the momentum going!
