Join us for a Cultural Protective Factors & Suicide Prevention Workshop on Friday, May 19th from 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM at WSU-Vancouver.

An informal presentation discussing cultural protective factors, resources, and the impact of suicide in the LGBTQIA2S+ community. This presentation also explores common myths and facts around suicide, who is impacted and why, and steps to begin a conversation about suicide.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

This presentation supports participants in the following:

- Exploring common myths and facts about suicide
- Building awareness of how and why people are impacted
- Understanding dynamics of protective and risk factors in the LGBTQIA2S+
- Identifying community resources for further support
